A classic camel cashmere sweater is a closet staple, however, I’d had a tough time finding just the right answer for my own style. This one has some beautiful details that make it timeless, versatile and unique enough to add something special to any outfit it’s part of. Here’s a closer look at it’s many distinctive elements.
1 | SHAPE
I absolutely love the wide fit across the body. It also has an ever so slightly cropped length so it can be worn loose or French tucked. It’s hard to find a sweater with this type of cut and it immediately set this one apart for me.
2 | TEXTURE
I just adore the dimensional texture of this knit. For folks who like to keep their outfits very simple (hi!), texture is so important to add interest to a look.
3 | DRAPE
How a garment falls over the frame and moves with the wearer can make all the difference. Because of the wide body and soft texture, this sweater drapes beautifully and falls in an a-line shape, creating soft, vertical ripples across the back.
4 | DROP SHOULDER
Drop shoulders create a casual, lived in feel and the contrasting ribbed knitting on this one adds the perfect touch of elegance. Sometimes drop shoulders can be a nuisance under coats but with slim sleeves like this they slide in with no issue.
5 | COLOUR
This colour is called Honey and it’s an ever so slightly muted camel. It’s a versatile neutral that pairs easily with warm and cool tones alike.

SIZING – Available in XXS – XL (in 4 colours) and 1X – 3X (in the colour Moon)
EILEEN FISHER sizing runs about a size larger than typical sizes so I’m wearing an XS in the Lofty Crew Neck. You could also take your usual size for a more relaxed fit, which might fall a bit longer in length too. As it is I really like how the XS fits and I’m wearing a fitted base layer underneath with no issue.
For reference I’m about 5’7″ and roughly 130 lbs and typically wear a small in tops.
CARE – This cashmere can be hand washed at home or dry cleaned.
